Marker ("the extension") is made by House of Arqam Ventures LLC ("we"). This policy describes what the extension and this website do with data. The short version: the extension works locally in your browser, we do not run analytics or tracking, and the only data that leaves your browser is what is needed to sell and verify a license.
The extension processes the pages it runs on entirely inside your browser to provide its features. This content is never sent to us or to any third party.
Uninstalling the extension removes all of this.
When you start a trial, buy Pro, or activate a license, the extension contacts our licensing service (a Cloudflare Worker at license.demo.paidextension.dev). It sends only what is needed for that action: the random installation identifier, an anonymous visitor identifier (for trials), the plan you chose, and your license key. The service stores your license status and the list of installation identifiers using it. It never receives page content or browsing activity.
Purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment details and billing address, handles taxes and invoices, and tells us when a purchase completes so we can issue your license key. We never see your card number. Paddle's handling of your data is described in Paddle's privacy policy.
After a purchase we email your license key to the address you gave Paddle, via Resend. We keep your email address alongside your license record so we can help you recover a key. We do not send marketing email.
This site is static and sets no cookies. It uses no analytics or advertising trackers.
License records are kept while your license is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for refund and fraud handling. Email hello@paidextension.dev to have your license record and email address deleted.
The extension is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We will update this page when the policy changes and adjust the date above.
